About the Program

Your Power Starts Here

Project Level Up's H.E.R. workshop series is built by and for young women ages 18–22 with disabilities who communicate differently. Each session creates a welcoming space to strengthen your identity, voice, and self-advocacy skills.

Whether you use AAC, sign language, speech, or anything in between, you belong here. We especially welcome folks from rural areas, communities of color, and anyone who hasn't had access to programs like this before.

Common Questions

Who is the H.E.R. workshop series for?

Young women in the U.S., ages 18–22, who have a disability that affects how they communicate. We especially welcome folks from rural areas, communities of color, and anyone who hasn't had access to programs like this before.

Do I have to attend all four sessions?

Nope! You can register for one, a few, or all four. It's totally up to you.

Is there a cost to participate?

Nothing! It is completely free, thanks to support from our sponsors.

What if I need to cancel after registering?

No worries! If something comes up, please use the cancellation link in your confirmation email, or email us at community@abilitycentral.org so we can open up a space for someone on our waitlist.

What accessibility supports are available?

Every session includes ASL interpretation and live captioning. You can also let us know about any other access needs when you sign up, and we'll do our best to support them.

How many people are in each session?

We keep the group small so the sessions feel personal and interactive. Spots may fill up, so try to register early if you can.
