Ability Central, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding communication access for people who are Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent, is announcing the discontinuation of its Cloud Consulting program, effective June 30, 2025.
Launched to help mission-driven organizations leverage cloud technology to improve accessibility and efficiency, the Cloud Consulting program has provided valuable support to nonprofits seeking to enhance their digital CRM capabilities. Through this initiative, Ability Central has empowered organizations with expert technical support on cloud adoption, security, and optimization, ultimately helping them better serve their communities.
As part of its ongoing commitment to maximizing impact for disabled communities, Ability Central is refocusing its resources to strengthen other core programs that advance accessibility and communication equity. While the Cloud Consulting program will sunset, Ability Central remains dedicated to fulfilling its mission through grantmaking, accessible information initiatives like the Portal, and strategic partnerships that support organizations working to expand disability inclusion.
“We are incredibly proud of the work the Cloud Consulting team was able to deliver, and we deeply appreciate the organizations we’ve had the privilege to support,” says Barry Saudan, Ability Central’s CEO. “This shift allows us to better align with our long-term vision of breaking down communication barriers and fostering a more inclusive world through revitalized philanthropic programs.”
Cloud Consulting staff will continue to offer technical support for now, with all operations winding down no later than June 30th, 2025. Ability Central encourages current and past clients to reach out with any questions regarding this transition.
