Cheryl Mitchell leads efforts to advance accessibility, inclusive design, and disability advocacy with over 20 years of experience in policy development, program innovation, and community-centered research. As CEO of AccessForge, she partners with organizations to build more inclusive digital and physical environments, working at the intersection of disability, aging, and equity. Cheryl drives change by helping institutions adopt practical, people-first solutions that support full participation for individuals with disabilities and older adults. Cheryl grounds her work in lived experience, systems thinking, and a belief that accessibility is not an extra step—it’s a shared responsibility and a strategic necessity.
